A Container Platform for IoT has been Launched

Its called Eliot, released under MIT open source license. It is specifically geared toward IoT devices. Container Platforms are all the rage in software development these days. The need to quickly produce lightweight software ended the days of monolithic robust applications. Mobile devices turned user preference from all in one program into responsive single functionality apps. Machine on Machine communication is the future of Modern society.  IHS Markit predicts there will be 31 Billion connected devices by 2018. That is four machines per every human on the planet.
